Hey guys so This popped into my head and so I wrote it and decided to share it with you. So please comment because It makes me feel good about myself even when you say it sucked. Thanks guys.

I sat in math class. My final class of the day. I was watching the clock and I know everyone else was too. It was the last day of school, and in less than five minutes that bell would ring and I would be free of this deader prison people called a school. I go back to my house where for two and a half months I would party, dance, and watch all the TV i wanted to with no homework or last minute projects to worry about. If I didn't have anything to do I had a plan. On those days I would have a routine: step one - wake up, step two - eat, step three - Go back to sleep Step four - repeat steps one through three. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I was tapped on the shoulder by my best friend, and long time crush, Gilbert. " hey (F/N) look ten seconds lets count down to the bell."
" Alright." We both started chanting each number as the clock ticked Ten...Nine...Eight... soon the whole class joined in getting louder by the number...seven...Six...Five... At this point even the teacher was chanting...Four... We all filled the halls as the rest of the hallway came out of there class rooms canting as well...Three...two...one...RING. That bell marked the end of thins years torture and the start of a new beginning for everyone. Me and Gilbert looked at each other for a slit second then bolted down the hallway. He took two water balloons out of his backpack and tossed me one. I caught it and we crashed through the doors of the school. We ran to the front of the school and stopped to catch our breath. " So (F/N) who is the target this year."
" That depends Gil. What did you put in the balloons this year?"
" Water, Dirt, and the mystery meat from lunch/"
" The assistant principle it is." We walked over to a tree a few feet away from the AP. Mr. Celestain. He was Mean, bitter, strict, and yelled way to much for anyone's health. Very few liked him. I honestly had no issues with him at first but he turned out to be one the only adults I didn't get along well.It got to the point where I walked into class with a note on my desk that said play nice and I found out he was filling in because the sub never showed up to class that day. We peeked around the tree and looked at each other, nodded, and then looked back at him. " on three. one"

You both said three at the same time and hit him strait on. He turned around to punish you but you two had already taken off down the street. From the looks of it you were both headed to his place. As soon as we were both through the door Gilbert locked it and we both leaned our backs against it while we caught our breath. once we were breathing normally again we sat down on the couch and waited for both of us to stop laughing. Once we finally died down Gilbert asked me if I wanted to stay the night at his house. I looked at the clock. It was almost five o'clock and so I had plenty of time to hang out with him so I said okay." So Gil what do want to do?"
"Well I want to go house shopping so you don't have to stay at that lame apartment anymore.living there is so not awesome enough for you."
"Gilbert you know I cant do that."
" Why not?"
" Because I am still a minor and I'm lucky that I know someone who works or complex I live at or I wouldn't be able to rent that place. I can't buy a house until I am eighteen. End of story so what else do you want to do?"
" I know why don't we invite the others over and We can have a group sleepover."
" Great get to calling while I run back to my house to grab a few things before it gets dark." I went back to my house and grabbed my sleeping bag dropped off my backpack and grabbed my phone and purse from the coffee table. I dumped my backpack out on the floor and went to the kitchen where I filled it with a bottle of chocolate syrup, as much Hershey as I could find in the cupboards, and three bags of marshmallows. I zipped up the backpack and headed out the door. When I returned to Gil's place everyone was there waiting on me. " Hey guys so I want all of you to get your asses in the backyard right now for the annual tradition of the official start of summer.. We all head out back and while I set Alfred to go get fire wood from the trees.

Gil set the fire, Arthur got out the spell book, and I sent kiku in for the herbs and other supplies. We all set the candles up in a large circle. We burn the herbs in the candle flames and spread the ashes around the circle. We all stepped into the circle joined hands and closed our eyes. Arthur began chanting a strange broken language. After he repeated it eight times we all said at the same time " I believe. Please show us the world of magic, wonder, and perfection. Where everyone is safe, and there are no tears. Please show yourselves to us."

We all opened our eyes and the candles went out on there own. We stood silent for a few moments then sparks flew up in the sky from the candles and though it was now dark outside the yard was filled with light as the fairy's floated down. We held out our hands for them to land on and as soon as they did they all cooed and suddenly every flower stem and leaf became what it truly was. the beautiful creatures began floating and dancing around us. I noticed that some of the flowers didn't change and therefore were flowers after all. I stared in wonder as a fairy flew over to me and smiled at me. she then pointed at Gilbert who was being pushed by a group of them towards me. I laughed at him. " hey they may be tiny but they are under no circumstances weak." I looked him in the eyes and then every thought of what was going on around me vanished as Gilbert lips locked with mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he rested his hands on my waist.

I run my fingers through your hair

After a few seconds we separated. " (F/N) will you go out with me?"
" Of course I will." I couldn't stop smiling now. Then I saw a circle of light surround my head as some of the fairies placed a tiara of flowers around my head. I giggled and then the fairy from earlier flew back in front of with a look of triumph on her face. she put her hands on her hips and nodded quickly before flying around. I went to my backpack and pulled out the chocolate and marshmallows. I opened them put them on a plate and covered them in chocolate syrup. As soon as I stepped away from the plate the fairies began to enjoy the feast of sugar laid out before them.I looked at Gil and saw the summer fairy fireworks go off behind him. I realized then that every time he smiled I would see those sparks from now on.

After that day the summer was exactly how I planed it would be. Everyday we all go out and have a great time, and every night we would have fun with the fairies. And every time Gil smiled I swear I saw those fairy fireworks go off in the background.
